Guide
If you're in Naperville, here's the BBQ
You don't need to drive into the city to get good BBQ. Naperville has a real scene now, with a few spots that hold their own against South Side classics. Here's what's actually worth the stop if you live, work, or shop out here.
Lunch from the office park
If your office is off 75th or Diehl, you have decent counter service BBQ in the 10 minute radius. Order a half pound of brisket and a sausage link, eat at your desk, don't bring the burnt ends back to a meeting.
Family dinner without driving downtown
Most Naperville spots do dine in well, with kids menus and parking that doesn't make you cry. Pick the one with the higher rating count, not the higher star, that's usually the real local favorite.
If you want to drive a little further
Aurora, Bolingbrook, and Plainfield are 15 to 25 minutes out and have their own spots worth checking. See the Aurora, Bolingbrook, and Plainfield pages.
