From the businessDave ''Sweet Baby Ray'' Raymond, who grew up on the West Side of Chicago, and his partner Mike O'Brien developed the Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce brand. The restaurant in Wood Dale is Dave Raymond's personal barbecue restaurant; it is one of two Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue restaurants in the world and the only one owned by Dave Raymond and his nephew Duce Raymond. It features regional barbecue, burgers, and 10 exclusive Sweet Baby Ray's house barbecue sauces.

Same here. Other brands I didn't know were native to Chicago that's difficult to get elsewhere: Sweet Baby Rays Barbecue Sauce- honestly, I always thought it was just a cheap national brand like Heinz, no idea it is difficult to find elsewhere. Dell Alpe-(all the things), but more important their giardiniera which is my favorite brand for it. Also, good luck finding Italian beef or giardiniera anywhere outside of Chicagoland. Again, I never thought Italian beef or giardiniera was special, I just thought it was something you could buy in the deli section everywhere. Do you know Subway doesn't even have giardiniera as a condiment option outside of Chicagoland?
