Chef Dominique Leach and her wife Tanisha established Lexington Betty Smokehouse in 2016. Chef Leach has appeared on Food Network’s CHOPPED “Playing With Fire” season in 2021 and was a judge/contestant on Food Network Canada's FIRE MASTERS. The restaurant is located in the Pullman neighborhood.

Yeah, Chicago has traditionally been a rib and rib tip town. But brisket has been growing in popularity recently. Green Street Smoked Meats, Smoque and Lexington Betty Smokehouse offer some excellent brisket. I probably prefer Green Street the most, but all three are excellent.
