Suncatcher is great. Alarmist is fun and they usually have food pop ups on weekends. Printers Row has some great beers, and it’s right by Earls BBQ.

Chicago Hot at Earls BBQ
The salmon tacos at Earls BBQ are legit amazing.
Except for sears being gone it's basically the same hoods. At least it feels this way. Theres a Culver's and a axe throwing spot in PP and JP has earls BBQ and the gateway theatre is now a polish center.
Tons of bars depends on your scene most are just look bars the two that will have somewhat of a nightlife are The Garage is nice and has pretty good food and a really nice top balcony and Jets next door can get pretty rowdy is a 20-30 crowd buts it usually all neighborhood kids and can be a little clicky. My own little hidden gem is the highway house on Northwest Hwy nice out door patio and very good food these bars are actually in Norwood park but just across from the Jeff park limits. There is a new brewery called Printers Row which is next to Earls BBQ which is decent for where it’s at. Which is also across the street from a very seedy bar with very attractive polish bartenders with questionable motives. You can do your own research on that if you want lol. Superdawg(which you shoul
Earls BBQ is the best I've found!
Check out Earls BBQ. Little further north of Smoque but more reasonably priced.

Earls bbq and donuts off of Austin and Lawrence
Earls BBQ has got a really good brisket. Smoked chicken is great too. All around good smoked food. Los Encinos down the block has great al pastor and tortas too.
Yeah chicago is a big city and good stuff is spread all over. But there’s CTA and Uber for that. I think these places are worth the trip Burger: Small Cheval is burger that low key changed my life. Meaning I can’t really look at other burgers the same anymore. It’s a bit pricey. But I guarantee it’s worth it. They have beer also. Hot Dogs: kind of tricky one. Cause there’s so many. I agree with someone else on this thread about the Home Depot Hot Dogs. They’re probably my favorite Chicago dog. But there’s novelty places like Superdawg and Gene n Jude’s that are good. There’s this one spot I really like called Chicago Dog House by DePaul. They have Chicago style and gourmet sausages. I had a kangaroo sausage that was pretty smackin. Also a good neighborhood for a night out. Steaks: ho
