may want to ride the metra down to the loop one day for a fun time downtown, see the touristy things. FYI it is a 1:30-1:45 train ride each way. For Waukegan check out whats going on at the [genesee theater](https://www.geneseetheatre.com/events/all) and [calendar of events](http://www.waukeganweb.net/calendar.aspx) , if you like breweries [Züm Bier](http://zumbier.com/) is good, BBQ [Big Eds BBQ](http://bigedsllc.com/), but Waukegan is great for Mexican Food most places are excellent, my top taquerias are in Carniceria Mexico, and Lewis Fresh Market on Grand Ave other then that not much going on in Waukegan, most people/sailors go to Gurnee edit: also try /r/ChicagoSuburbs/
