The most popular are Joe's or Arthur Bryant's, but the Prime Beef Rib from Jack Stack is incredible. Brobeck's is a sleeper that you never hear about. Their cheesy corn is great. Some BBQ places are kind of lacking when it comes to sides. Buck Tui fuses BBQ with Thai food, and it works in a way that you don't see coming. They earned themselves a location at Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Super Bowl champs. I would recommend their pork belly burnt ends with White Panang Curry.

Your Southwest line Metra trip report, reminds me I've always wanted to visit Arrowhead Ales. Which is a microbrewery near the Laraway Road stop. Sadly, I never did quite visit there. I remember taking SWS to Manhattan once, and due to the pre-COVID Saturday schedule, I only took a VERY fast walk looking around downtown Manhattan before going back north. After that trip I did notice on Google maps there was a mom and pop bakery in Manhattan I suppose I could've checked out, if I had more time. I wish Metra still ran Saturday service on their Southwest line(albeit that Saturday schedule was limited, when such service used to ran), like they did pre-COVID.
